We are always recruiting qualified teachers for nursery to year 7 for daily, short and long term assignments. It follows that the more committed and flexible a teacher is the more work opportunities will be available. Often schools request a particularly reliable teacher who has shared the school's ethos.

Supply teaching offers a flexible way of working which is compatible with family commitments, other training or seasonal employment. Our loyalty bonus scheme rewards teachers, even those who can offer as little as three days a week over a termly period.

The DCSF Quality Mark sets minimum standards in the way teachers are recruited, interviewed, checked and their performance managed.

By choosing Supply and Demand, holders of the DCSF Quality Mark, teachers can be confident that they have selected an accredited and reputable service that will add value to their experience as a supply teacher.

To register with Supply and Demand certain vetting procedures need to be undertaken. These include contacting professional referees, QTS, CRB, GTC and health checks. We aim to complete these checks as quickly as possible to enable early commencement of work.

We need to establish your skills, strengths and preferences to enable appropriate placement in schools. Consequently we consider that a personal interview with each applicant is an essential part of the recruitment procedure.
